d'Arry's Verandah Restaurant is housed in the Osborn family, restored 19th-century homestead, where spectacular views of the Willunga hills and McLaren Vale vineyards set the scene for long leisurely lunches.

The late d’Arry Osborn famously refused to surrender his old Grenache vineyards to the vine pull scheme of the 80’s earning him the title of ‘Custodian’ of the grape. Today d’Arenberg is the keeper of nearly one-third of McLaren Vale’s old bush vine Grenache and the regions Grenache wines are widely recognised as the best in the country.

Le Canard Au Vin Degustation boasts a classic eight course French menu prepared by d’Arry’s Verandah Head Chef Peter Reschke. The evening marks the release of the new ‘Districts’ range: Three Super-Premium Single Vineyard Grenache releases highlighting three distinctive McLaren Vale geologies, pinnacle wines befitting a magnificent legacy.

Join our Head Winemaker Jack Walton in sharing this love of Grenache, as he imparts his wisdom throughout the indulgent degustation lunch. After all, there isn't a better place in the country to enjoy Grenache than from the legendary d’Arry Osborn’s verandah, the true Custodian of Grenache.

Please note: This is a communal table event. Due to the bespoke nature of this experience, d'Arry's Verandah will only be offering a vegan/ gluten free menu alternative. No other dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
